What Your Subscription Includes
3.1 Beyond The Portfolio™ Course. Lifetime access to the Beyond The Portfolio™ course via the ArtistsZone Community Portal (community.artistszone.net), including all video lessons, written materials, worksheets, frameworks, and templates in the six-module marketing curriculum. Course access does not expire and does not require renewal.
3.2 Hosted Artist Website. One (1) hosted artist website on the yourdomain.artistszone.net subdomain platform, including ArtistsZone’s built-in artist marketing features. For Beyond The Portfolio™ course purchasers, the first year of website hosting is included in the one-time course fee. After the first year, continued website hosting requires a separate Hosted Artist Website subscription at the then-current rate ($420.00/year or $35.00/month).
3.3 Community Portal Access. All subscribers receive access to the ArtistsZone Community Portal (community.artistszone.net) to manage your account, access your course (if included), and link to your website admin area (if included).
3.4 No Transfer. Your subscription is personal to you. You may not share, transfer, resell, or allow any other person to use your account or subscription.
§ 4
Billing and Payment
4.1 Billing Cycle. The Beyond The Portfolio™ course is a one-time purchase and is not subject to recurring billing. Hosted Artist Website annual plans are billed once per year on the anniversary of the website subscription start date. Monthly plans are billed on the same date each month.
4.2 Auto-Renewal. Hosted Artist Website subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date as described in Section 5. The Beyond The Portfolio™ course fee is a one-time charge and does not auto-renew. For subscribers in California: your subscription will automatically renew pursuant to California Business and Professions Code § 17600 et seq. The auto-renewal offer terms, cancellation policy, and pricing will be presented clearly before purchase and confirmed in a post-transaction email. You may cancel at any time per Section 5.
4.3 Payment Method. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize ArtistsZone to charge your payment method on file for each renewal. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. If a payment fails, ArtistsZone may suspend your access until payment is resolved.
4.4 Price Lock. The price in effect at the start of any billing cycle is fixed for that cycle. Price increases for renewal cycles require at least thirty (30) days’ prior notice.
4.5 Taxes. You are responsible for all applicable sales, use, VAT, GST, or similar taxes on your subscription.
§ 5
Cancellation
5.1 How to Cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account at community.artistszone.net and following the cancellation instructions, or by contacting
billing@artistszone.net. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
5.2 No Mid-Cycle Refunds. Cancellation stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing cycle, except as provided in Section 6.
5.3 Access After Cancellation. Upon cancellation:
- Beyond The Portfolio™ Course: Your lifetime course access is unaffected by cancellation of a website subscription. Course access does not expire.
- Hosted Artist Website (Website Only plan or Year 2+ renewal): Your Hosted Artist Website is placed in a locked, read-only state as described in Section 7.4. You have thirty (30) days to reactivate before the site is eligible for deletion.
- Included first-year website (course purchasers whose included year has expired): Your website is placed in a locked, read-only state as described in Section 7.4. You have thirty (30) days to subscribe to a Hosted Artist Website plan before the site is eligible for deletion.
§ 6
Refund Policy
6.1 7-Day Refund Window. If you purchase the Beyond The Portfolio™ course for the first time, you may request a full refund within seven (7) days of your purchase date, provided you have not completed more than one (1) of the six (6) course modules. Submit refund requests to
billing@artistszone.net with your name, order number, and reason.
6.2 No Refund on Website Subscriptions. Hosted Artist Website subscription fees are non-refundable. Once your Hosted Artist Website is provisioned, no refunds are issued regardless of plan type.
6.3 No Refund After 7 Days. After the 7-day window, all fees are non-refundable regardless of usage.
6.4 Processing Time. Approved refunds are processed within ten (10) business days to the original payment method.
6.5 Statutory Rights. Nothing in this Section limits any refund right you have under applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction. Australian subscribers: nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010), including consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded by contract. EU and UK subscribers: if you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may have a statutory right to cancel a digital content purchase within fourteen (14) days of purchase. This right does not apply if you have expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal does not apply once performance has begun. Such consent and acknowledgment will be requested at checkout.
§ 7
Hosted Artist Website Terms
7.1 Provisioning. Your Hosted Artist Website will be provisioned within two (2) business days of your purchase confirmation. You will receive setup instructions at the email address associated with your account.
7.2 Your Content. You retain ownership of all content you upload to your Hosted Artist Website. By hosting your content on the ArtistsZone platform, you grant ArtistsZone a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and serve your content solely for the purpose of operating your website. ArtistsZone does not claim ownership of your content.
7.3 Content Restrictions and Acceptable Use. You may not use your Hosted Artist Website to publish, distribute, or facilitate any of the following: (a) content that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right of any third party; (b) content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or pornographic; (c) content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity, including the sale of illegal goods or services; (d) unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or phishing schemes; (e) malicious code, viruses, ransomware, or any software designed to damage, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to systems; (f) cryptocurrency mining scripts or any unauthorized use of visitor computing resources; (g) content that violates any applicable export control or sanctions law; or (h) content directed at or designed to collect information from children under 13. ArtistsZone reserves the right to remove violating content and to suspend or terminate your website immediately and without notice in cases of serious or repeated violations.
7.4 At Term End — Lock and Conversion. When a subscription that includes a Hosted Artist Website expires or is cancelled, your website will be placed in a locked, read-only state: the site remains publicly visible but you lose administrative access and the ability to edit content. You may restore full access at any time by reactivating or upgrading your subscription. The reactivation window depends on your plan:
- Hosted Artist Website subscription (Website Only plan or Year 2+ renewal): You have thirty (30) days from the lock date to reactivate before ArtistsZone may take your site offline and delete associated content.
- Included first-year website (Beyond The Portfolio™ course purchasers whose included year has expired): You have thirty (30) days from the lock date to subscribe to a Hosted Artist Website plan before ArtistsZone may take your site offline and delete associated content.
ArtistsZone will provide at least fifteen (15) days’ written notice before any deletion.
7.5 Content Export. You may export your website content at any time while your subscription is active or during the 30-day lock period. ArtistsZone is not responsible for content lost after deletion under Section 7.4.
7.8 No Backup Obligation. ArtistsZone does not guarantee the backup or preservation of your Hosted Artist Website content. While ArtistsZone may perform routine infrastructure backups for operational purposes, these are not intended as a content backup service for subscribers and may not be available for individual site restoration. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups of your website content. ArtistsZone is not liable for any loss of content arising from technical failures, accidental deletion, account termination, or any other cause.
7.6 Subdomain. Your Hosted Artist Website is hosted on a yourdomain.artistszone.net subdomain. You do not own the subdomain. ArtistsZone reserves the right to change subdomain formats with reasonable notice. Custom domain mapping may be available as an add-on; see artistszone.net for current options.
7.9 Platform Feature Changes. ArtistsZone reserves the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or functionality of the Hosted Artist Website platform at any time. ArtistsZone will use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of material feature removals. No refund or fee adjustment is available solely on account of a platform feature change, except where a change renders the hosted website substantially non-functional for its primary purpose, in which case the downtime credit provisions of Section 11.3 may apply.
7.10 Third-Party Integrations. You may connect third-party tools, plugins, or services to your Hosted Artist Website. ArtistsZone is not responsible for the performance, availability, security, or compliance of any third-party integration. Your use of third-party integrations is governed by those third parties’ own terms and policies. ArtistsZone may restrict or disable third-party integrations that pose a security risk or violate these Terms.
7.11 Account Inactivity. If your Hosted Artist Website subscription lapses due to non-payment or non-renewal and you do not cancel or contact ArtistsZone within the applicable lock period described in Section 7.4, your account will be treated as abandoned. ArtistsZone may permanently delete abandoned accounts and all associated content after providing the notice required under Section 7.4.
7.7 Sales Tax on Your Sales. You are solely responsible for determining, collecting, and remitting all applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, and any other taxes or fees on sales you make through your Hosted Artist Website. ArtistsZone processes no payments on your behalf, is not a marketplace facilitator with respect to your sales, and has no liability for any taxes owed on transactions between you and your customers. ArtistsZone makes no representations about your tax obligations and recommends you consult a qualified tax advisor regarding your specific situation.
§ 8
Course Access Terms
8.1 License Grant. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, ArtistsZone grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Beyond The Portfolio™ course solely for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
8.2 No Redistribution. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, share login credentials, screen-record, or make course content available to any third party. Downloadable materials may be used for your personal use only.
8.3 No Competing Use. You may not use the course content to develop, offer, or market a competing marketing education product for visual artists, graphic designers, or illustrators.
8.4 Course Changes. ArtistsZone reserves the right to update, modify, supplement, or remove course content at any time without notice. No refund or fee adjustment is available solely on account of a content change.
8.5 Certificates of Completion. ArtistsZone may issue certificates of completion upon finishing the Beyond The Portfolio™ course. These certificates are issued by ArtistsZone LLC and are not issued by any accredited academic institution. They do not confer academic credit, professional licensure, or any credential recognized by any governmental or accrediting body. ArtistsZone makes no representations about how employers, institutions, or other third parties will recognize or value these certificates.
§ 9
Intellectual Property
All course content, platform features, software, graphics, logos, and trademarks on the ArtistsZone platform are owned by or licensed to ArtistsZone LLC and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. Beyond The Portfolio™ and ArtistsZone are trademarks of ArtistsZone LLC. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
§ 10
Feedback and Testimonials
10.1 Feedback. Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback you provide about the platform become the property of ArtistsZone and may be used without restriction, attribution, or compensation.
10.2 Testimonials. By accepting these Terms, you consent to ArtistsZone using your name, likeness, quotes, and submitted content as testimonials in ArtistsZone’s marketing materials, website, sales presentations, and investor communications. This consent continues for as long as you remain a subscriber or user of any ArtistsZone service.
§ 11
Platform Availability
11.1 Uptime Commitment. ArtistsZone commits to 99.86% uptime per calendar month for the Community Portal (community.artistszone.net) and for each Hosted Artist Website (yourdomain.artistszone.net), excluding scheduled maintenance and Force Majeure Events. This equates to no more than sixty (60) minutes of unplanned downtime per month.
11.2 Scheduled Maintenance. ArtistsZone may take the platform offline for scheduled maintenance between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time with at least twenty-four (24) hours’ advance notice. Scheduled maintenance does not count against the uptime commitment.
11.3 Downtime Credits. If the Community Portal or your Hosted Artist Website experiences unplanned downtime exceeding three (3) consecutive days, you may request a pro-rated credit for the affected period by contacting
billing@artistszone.net within thirty (30) days of the event. Credits are the sole remedy for downtime and are not available for Force Majeure Events, scheduled maintenance, or outages caused by your own actions.
§ 12
Suspension and Termination
12.1 By ArtistsZone. ArtistsZone may suspend or terminate your subscription immediately and without notice if you: (a) breach these Terms or our Terms of Use; (b) fail to pay amounts due; (c) engage in conduct harmful to other users or to ArtistsZone; or (d) use your Hosted Artist Website to publish prohibited content under Section 7.3.
12.2 Effect of Termination for Cause. If ArtistsZone terminates your subscription for cause, your access to the course and Community Portal ends immediately and your Hosted Artist Website may be taken offline without the lock period described in Section 7.4. No refund is issued for termination for cause.
12.3 By You. You may cancel at any time per Section 5. Cancellation is not termination for cause and triggers the wind-down provisions in Sections 5.3 and 7.4.
§ 13
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE ARTISTSZONE PLATFORM, COURSE, AND HOSTED ARTIST WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARTISTSZONE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR SUBSCRIPTION OR USE OF THE PLATFORM. ARTISTSZONE’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
§ 15

15.1 Informal Resolution. Before filing any legal claim, contact us at
legal@artistszone.net and attempt to resolve the dispute informally within thirty (30) days.
15.2 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15.3 Venue. Any legal proceeding must be brought in the state or federal courts in Fulton County, Georgia.
15.4 Injunctive Relief. Either party may seek immediate injunctive relief without first exhausting the informal resolution process.
15.5 Attorneys’ Fees. The prevailing party in any legal proceeding is entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.
15.6 Class Action Waiver. To the extent permitted by law, you waive any right to bring claims as a class member in any purported class or representative action.
§ 17
Additional Subscriber Protections and Obligations
17.1 DMCA — Copyright Infringement. ArtistsZone respects intellectual property rights and expects subscribers to do the same. If you believe that content on a Hosted Artist Website infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to
legal@artistszone.net containing: (a) identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (b) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the platform; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. ArtistsZone will process valid notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). Subscribers who repeatedly infringe third-party copyrights are subject to account termination. Counter-notices may be submitted to the same address.
17.2 Subscriber Indemnification. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ArtistsZone LLC and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Hosted Artist Website or Community Portal; (b) content you publish or distribute through your Hosted Artist Website; (c) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; (d) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or rights of publicity; or (e) any claim by a customer or visitor of your Hosted Artist Website arising from your products, services, or conduct. ArtistsZone reserves the right to assume exclusive control of the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate with ArtistsZone at your expense.
17.3 EU / UK — Cooling-Off Period. If you are a consumer located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within fourteen (14) days of the date of purchase without giving any reason (the “cooling-off period”). This right applies to both the Beyond The Portfolio™ course and Hosted Artist Website subscriptions. However, by requesting immediate access to digital content at checkout and acknowledging that performance has begun, you expressly consent to waive the cooling-off right with respect to content already accessed. If you do not provide such consent at checkout, access to the content will not begin until the 14-day period has expired. To exercise the right of cancellation (where it has not been waived), contact
legal@artistszone.net within the 14-day period. Refunds for valid cooling-off cancellations will be processed within fourteen (14) days.
17.4 Canada — Marketing Communications (CASL). If you are located in Canada, ArtistsZone will only send you commercial electronic messages (including promotional emails and marketing communications) with your express consent, as required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL, S.C. 2010, c. 23). A separate consent request for marketing communications will be presented during or after the account creation process. Consent to these Terms does not constitute consent to receive marketing communications. You may withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting
privacy@artistszone.net. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect transactional communications required to deliver your subscription.
§ 16
General Provisions

16.2 Amendment. ArtistsZone may update these Terms at any time by posting the updated version at artistszone.net/terms/subscriber. Your continued use of the platform after posting constitutes acceptance.
16.3 Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
16.4 Waiver. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
16.5 Assignment. You may not assign your subscription or these Terms. ArtistsZone may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
16.6 Notices. Notices to ArtistsZone:
legal@artistszone.net. Notices to you: the email address associated with your account.
16.7 Independent Contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, or employment relationship.
