Welcome to ArtistsZone

Schools

We Teach artists how-to sell themselves and their work.

ArtistsZone does 4 things that benefit college/university art programs and their students:
ArtistsZone™ 90-Day State Of Artists Poll

1. We track and document graduate employment outcomes.

Faced with shrinking enrollment and possibly new federal STATS compliance rules, art programs need proof, not anecdotes. ArtistsZone gives you both.
  • The ArtistsZone 90-Day State of Artists Poll tracks how fast your graduates land their first paid client after graduation.
  • The Annual State of Artists Survey tracks where artists stand each year — income, sales/client base, career direction.
We plan to track this data over a minimum 4 year period for each poll/survey cohort. You get the data in a format you can share with your board, your accreditor, or your dean — a real answer when someone asks... “How are your graduates doing?”

2. The Beyond The Portfolio Course

You teach students to make art. The Beyond The Portfolio™ Course teches them how to get hired and attract clients.

Career services gets students to graduation. It doesn't teach them how to get clients, price a project, execute a contract, or turn a following into clients/customers. The Beyond The Portfolio™ Course is the only institutionally-licensed course built for achieving those outcomes.

The course is a 6-part marketing framework for artists. Students leave the course knowing how to get found, get hired, and get paid.

3. ArtistsZone Artist Websites

We make artist websites that come with all the tools needed to do marketing and sales built-in.

Most artists don't have one full-featured professional website. They have a bunch of different tools duct-taped together — Squarespace for the website, Mailchimp or Kit for email marketing, Eventbrite for events, and ThriveCart (or something else) for sales.

ArtistsZone artist websites were designed for artists and come with powerful artist website features built-in like: analytics; appointment booking (free or paid); e-commerce (physical or digital products); email marketing; events (RSVPs + tickets); and more. Everything an artists needs to promote, sell, and engage is available in one place.

ArtistsZone is testing development of built-in AI image protection. The goal is to have Glaze stop AI from scraping and stealing an artist's work and their style, and Nightshadepoison the data AI bots build by training on artists work without permission, both be built-in and able to be applied whenever an image is uploaded to an ArtistsZone website.

3. ArtistsZone Community

The ArtistsZone Community is open to all artists and students — whether or not you've taken the course or have an ArtistsZone artist website. It's a network of artists at every stage, all figuring out the business side of art together: what's working, what isn't, and what to try next.
